The PSF Board of Directors has awarded a $1500 USD grant to sponsor
PyCon DE 2011.
Date and Location
PyCon DE 2011 will be held from October 4th to 9th in Leipzig,
Germany. The conference will be held at the Leipziger Kubus.
PyCon DE
PyCon DE 2011 is the first PyCon in the German-speaking countries.
It consist of one day of 12 high-quality tutorials, three days of more than
60 talks, and two days of sprints. The topics reflect the wide usage of Python,
including web development, science and engineering, testing, Python in
business, databases, financial engineering, code quality and much more.
The organizers are expecting between 250 and 300 attendees from the excited German-speaking
Python community.
